Sugar Cookie Recipe
I'm always looking for a good sugar cookie recipe and I finally found one this year. Here it is.
Sugar Cookie Recipe
1 c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs
1 c buttermilk
4 c flour
1 t soda
1t salt
2t baking powder
Mix shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and mix.
Then alternate butter milk and flour. (Mix soda, salt and powder with the flour)
Roll out. Cut. Bake @ 350 for ~ 8-9 minutes (check the bottoms to see if they brown)
Note:I used butter for the shortening and I used one cup milk with a teaspoon of vinegar for the buttermilk.
