Four things
The four things that have kept us busy this week are:
1. We now have a cat again. His name has changed from Lightning McQueen to Baghera and you have to pronounce it correctly or you will have a six year old teach you how to say it until you do it the right way.
2. We have started putting up new walls in our basement and taking down old ones. Our neighbor is helping - or rather, doing.
3. We have house guests.
4. Got a killer chocolate chip cookie recipe. Much fun. You have to mix by hand and the boys are enjoying that part. (Yes, I've finally gotten to the point where I will let them help me even though it means flour flying half way across the room.)

Here's the killerest of killers for you. Good things must be shared:
Mix together and set aside:
2 1/4 c flour
1/2 t soda
1/4 t salt
1/2 c cocoa
Cream 1 c real butter
Add to it:
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
3 eggs
2 t vanilla
Slowly add the dry mix to the butter mix. Then add 2 c semi-sweet choc chips.
Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 min.
