These are moments I want to remember.

Porter got a case of food poisoning.  He was in bed and not happy with his plight.  I soon found Christian at his bedside.  Christian brought one of Porter's favorite books to look through with him in hopes of keeping his mind off of his aching belly.  Later as Porter was crying in the bathroom, Christian went in and gave Porter a pep talk that everything was going to be alright.  The tone of the cry changed and Porter said he now had "happy tears" because he was so thankful that Christian was there for him.

"Sibling relationships outlast marriages, survive the death of parents, resurface after quarrels that would sink any friendship. They flourish in a thousand incarnations of closeness and distance, warmth, loyalty and distrust."

Kelly, I don't comment often b/c I'm usually nursing when I'm reading blogs, but this is so sweet! We love your family! I love the quote you used as well--so true.
